In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of banned rituals and fearsome changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden cult.

The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to several items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
