The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

The rising star maintains impressive social media audience

The young golfer can count on numerous well-known backers as she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she revealed.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He practically suggested to go out there and relax," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

Yet she can receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a superior human being. He told me to go out there, relax, and go with whatever happens."

Kai will face some of top competitors in professional golf at this tournament, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that involving Kai brings golf to new audiences, specifically with youth audiences.

The social media influencer maintains a massive following and just introduced a personal apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
